It was love that made Carl Denham (Jack Black) do what he did and never gave up, not even when his unprocessed films were exposed. He still managed to bring his dream to the audience in the theater.
It was love for self that Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) accepted the cast to earn a living for survival.
It was love for a woman that Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) had the bravery to fight all course to save his love. He risked it all and continued to search with only hope that Ann would still be alive.
And it was love that King Kong wanted. His emptiness and loneliness was filled when Ann became part of his life. Because of love, he protected her from anything that threatened her life. And he stormed the city in search of his love despite all obstacles.
I watched this 3-hour movie and all I see is love. Love is so powerful that builds one or tears one apart. It brings you smiles and flames you to anger. Love keeps people hoping and believing...
So as the bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:13, "So these three things remain: faith, hope and love. But the best one of these is love."
