Phases of life

At the age of 5...
would you hand-wash the clothes whenever you can while your mum was at work?

At the age of 6...
would you sleep on the floor so that your elder sis would have a good rest on the comfortable bed?

At the age of 7...
would you wish for the week to pass quickly so that you can see your parents during the weekend?

At the age of 8...
would you be handling 'stress' by eating glue and paper?

At the age of 9...
would you cut yourself hoping you'll leave this cruel world forever?

At the age of 10...
would you plot to run away and wish that a rich family would come to your rescue?

At the age of 11...
would you admit to mistakes which were not yours just to stop the interrogation?

At the age of 12...
would you be so worried about your mum who met with an accident that you didn't do well in your exams?

At the age of 13...
would you take your mum for morning walks before school to keep her healthy?

At the age of 14...
would you rather spend some time in the car with your mum before the school bell rang?

At the age of 15..
would you study so hard for yourself and for the pride of your family because your relatives were always stepping all over you and your family?

At the age of 16...
would you rather skipped school even though you loved school so much, just to make sure your mum didn't have to drive you to school under the crazy heavy rain?

At the age of 17...
would you drink from the same cup of your sick mother, hoping you'll be sick instead?

There are more phases of life that require more sacrifices. Some people learn from their everyday lives. Some learn when problems hit them. But come what may, the Lord's grace and mercy is sufficient to see you through.
